What baby sea turtles taught me about climate change and Sen. Mike Lee's fallacy
I got back from Mexico on Friday, and by far the coolest thing I did — about which I will gloat endlessly with no shame — is witness a baby sea turtle release by a wonderful conservation group called Campamento Tortuguero. (Thanks to Herriman Rep. John Knotwell for the tip.) If you ever visit Puerto Vallarta, look them up on Facebook and they’ll post when they have babies to set free and where to go to see them. There’s no charge, but they do take donations to support their important work. Because I am now full of baby sea turtle facts, I need to share them with someone, really anyone, and I figure this place is as good as any. Some facts:
